Day 1
Arrival
You shall be picked from your hotel.
The day starts with an early departure from your hotel at 2:30 am to drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda through the Katuna border, where you will process your entry visa to Uganda, if you don’t have one. Your guide will help you meet the park warden to assign you the gorilla family to track, and you will then be briefed about the whole gorilla trekking process.
Then, you’ll head to the starting point with your park rangers. Walking sticks and porters are available at the starting point. Endeavor to use porters if you can, as this is one of the other ways that we give back to the communities that protect these Gorillas
You will then start the guided walk in search for gorillas. After meeting them, you’ll take photos. Then, you’ll return, have lunch and proceed to Kigali to end your one-day gorilla tour.
