The center cares for rescued animals, often victims of the bush meat trade, habitat destruction, or illegal trade. Day 1

Visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.

The Uganda Wildlife Education Center welcomes and rehabilitates all injured and orphaned animals. There is a comprehensive veterinary hospital for treating the animals as well as breeding them to reintroduce them back into the wild.
After your breakfast, our experienced driver will take you to the center.

You will view, at close range, the rhino, chimpanzee, lion, giraffe, and the spotted hyena. Other attractions are the leopard, African elephant, zebra, ostrich, and several snake species.

You can opt for one or several of the available activities at the center, including the keeper’s guided tour that will give you lots of insights into the different animal’s origin stories and how they have since developed and understand their behaviors more. Others are the chimpanzee close-up, guide for a day, or the scenes tour.

Access to all animal spaces will be on foot.
